New Stickers, Seasonal Discounts, and More!

Fall 2022 Seasonal Release

As the Fall wraps up and December approaches, I am getting ready to launch the Fall 2022 Seasonal Release! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know, but for the Fall 2022 Seasonal Release I will be adding some new stickers to my website! (If you want to be the first to know, or get a chance to vote on what my next projects will be, make sure to check out my Instagram! I post stories and posts about upcoming projects, and love doing polls to see what kinds of things you guys are looking for!)

I am really excited about these new stickers because I love how they look, and they are a little nod to my next project (but more on that later)! For these stickers, I was able to get scans of my art, so I am really happy with the resolution of these stickers! I also was inspired by some other art I saw online to add a twist to my stickers! Since I wanted to stick to the landscapes for this release, I ended up making the stickers look like mini polaroid photos! I am really excited with how they turned out, and I can’t wait to see where you all place your stickers! If you want to see what these new stickers will look like, take a look below! As you can see, each sticker is made from some of my travel art! I have paintings from my Hawaii trip, and one from my Maine trip! I still have yet to release the originals onto my website, hopefully will be doing that within 2023 (sorry for the wait!!) But, if you have been waiting for the originals to drop, this is a great way to get your hands on the art before that!

Latest Spates Project

In August, I mentioned that I was working on a new album cover for Spates, and it is completed! (Which, if you follow me on any of my social media platforms (Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, etc.) you probably already know!) I love working with Spates, because each album cover has a different vision and theme! This album cover had a more graphic art/cartoon type style to it, which was really interesting to create with watercolor! It was also way out of my comfort zone, so that was a nice challenging project for me!

Another fun aspect of this project was the fact that each aspect of the painting was symbolic and had a special meaning for Spates and his work. If you are curious about hearing more about this painting and all the details let me know! I have also embedded the Youtube video of my full sketching process below, so feel free to check those out if you are curious about my art process! I had never posted a sketching video of a project this big before, so that was pretty fun, especially because this was such a collaborative project! At one point I pull out my phone to call Spates and see what his thoughts are on the sketch. This is one of my favorite parts of working on commissions, the back and forth to bring a vision to life! My Next Project — Crossing My Fingers I Finish it in Time!!

I also wanted to update you all on the next project I am working on! If you have been following my website since the beginning, you know that I released a digital calendar using my portrait series! This year, I am hoping to release a 2023 calendar using landscapes that I have painted, hopefully mostly from my own travels! It is currently in the works, and I am putting together which paintings I would like to have where, but there is still a lot to be done! I have to finish some new paintings (hoping to do that at the beginning of December) and I have to finish the layout!

This will be one of my biggest projects yet, because I also want to have a printed option (not just digital) this time! I am not sure how many printed calendars I will have in stock, but I will probably include a survey at some point to see who is interested (so if you would like to be part of this vote, makes sure to follow my Instagram!!) You can take a look at some of the paintings I hope to include below! And if you have any suggestions, or want to see one of my other paintings as part of the calendar comment down below! 🙂

I will keep you guys posted as I finish this project, but please bear with me if there are some delays!! I am really hoping to have this available before January hits, or at least at the beginning of January!! 🙂 Thanks to all of you for supporting me this far, I am so excited to continue to make more projects for you all! 🙂

Challenges and Graphic Design Stuff — More News Soon!

I am still working on these challenges, it has been hard to fit them into my schedule regularly! But I wanted you all to know that I am still thinking about them and working on them! Hopefully over winter break I will be able to get some dedicated time in to do some more! In case you aren’t aware these are the challenges that I have been working on and hope to continue:

100 Heads Challenge — you can follow along on my Youtube channel or Instagram if you haven’t already!
Pokemon cards — I am painting these for my brother, but it has become a good exercise for me to work on color matching and to think creatively with a different medium! You can see these exclusively on my Youtube channel currently!
Potential graphic design challenges — if you know me well, then you know that I have been a part of a couple student groups as a PR/social media/graphic design creator! I have yet to put all my work together in one place (stay tuned for a new website page soon hopefully!!), but this is a skill that I want to continue to work on! It has been a great way to challenge myself to come up with ideas in a short period of time, use digital art, and also come up with cool marketing and design ideas! Stay tuned for more on this! 🙂

Shop Recap and Website Update!

I am hoping to put together my shop recap soon for you guys! I have been taking lots of photos of my art, and am ready to share those with you soon! Hopefully it will give you guys a good idea of what is in my shop, and I think it will be a great way for all of us to revisit all the pieces I have made!

I am also planning to reorganize my website a little bit, don’t worry it won’t be completely different for those of you who are familiar with it already!! I am just hoping to make it a little bit easier to navigate and to add some more to it, now that I have had more experience with the website/graphic design side of things! 🙂 Stay tuned!!
