September Round Up – Special Projects, all related to Spates Music!

It is almost a new month, and a new season! That means that I will be releasing new desktop wallpapers for the month of September, along with the Summer 2022 Seasonal Prints! During the past month of August, I was working on creating a new album cover for Spates (if you didn’t already know he has created a brand new album called TNC – The Next Chapter!) While making this album cover, Spates and I took a walk down memory lane and looked at his previous album covers to create some Easter eggs for the new album cover! Be sure to hunt for those Easter eggs when the new album comes out! I hope to be releasing the artwork for that soon! (I’ll give you a hint, there are nods to both of Spates albums and every single detail in TNC has a meaning!)

But in the mean time, you can enjoy the new releases, which ended up being inspired by Spates previous album, ‘Progress Report’. If you haven’t seen that album cover yet or heard the album itself, check it out below!

September Wallpapers

I am really excited about these, not only because they are Spates themed (and it is his birthday month!!), but also because they ended up being very fall/back to school themed, which is perfect for the September release! These will be added to my website on September 1st, 2022, so make sure to mark your calendar if you are interested!

Although there isn’t a limited supply of these wallpapers (because they are digital products), they will only be available for the month of September. A couple of the wallpapers include September 2022 calendars, and all of them include September specific designs. So if you want the wallpapers, make sure to get them before I take them off my website at the end of September!

Summer 2022 Seasonal Prints

Continuing with the ‘Progress Report’ theme, the Summer 2022 seasonal prints are going to be of the Progress Report album cover art. Friends of Spates were interested in having their own copy of ‘Progress Report’ because it has a lot of meaning for them, but there is only one original so the idea of making prints was brought up! A fun fact about the ‘Progress Report’ album is that the lab reports and notes are all based on lab reports that were worked on and created by Spates during his time studying aerospace engineering.

So, we ordered some prints, and Spates and I worked together to sign them together! So not only are these prints special because they are limited edition prints (for the Summer of 2022), but also because they are signed by Spates as well as me! (Note: our signatures are not depicted in the pictures below)

If you follow me on Instagram you probably already saw these prints, but if you haven’t already check them out below! These prints will also be available for purchase on September 1st, 2022! And there will only be 20 prints available, so if you are interested in getting a print for yourself make sure to purchase it as soon as they are released!

I am extremely happy with the quality of these prints (THANK YOU CAT PRINT LLC), and I hope you enjoy them too! You can see some of the close up pictures of the prints in the later slides above to get a sense for how close to the original these prints are! Especially the color and fine lines!

Other News – Shop Recap!

I recently posted a story on my Instagram (if you haven’t caught onto the theme yet, my Instagram is a great place to get regular updates about my art and shop! So if you aren’t following me already, you should definitely do it now — especially if you want to be one of the first to know about new updates!), and in the Instagram story I asked if people would be interested in some type of Shop Recap to show everyone what is still in my shop and available for purchase! The answer was a resounding yes, so I plan to put some way to give you guys a recap of everything in my shop on my Instagram! If you are interested in seeing that, follow along on my Instagram!
